Fred is an experienced long term pilot, licensed in 1967. He is married and has a 10 year old daughter. He has worked as Financial Service Representative of Met Life for many years and continues to do so. Among his interests, Fred is an enthusiastic sailor with a 35 foot sailboat. From sailing he has witnessed up close the decline of the Chesapeake Bay. His efforts on behalf of the environment include flying for the Nature Conservancy and The Chesapeake Bay Foundation. These Flights have ranged from New York to Georgia. He also has flown for Lifeline Air, Angel Flight and The Shiners. Currently he flies his 2000 Cessna 182S out of the Norfolk International Airport. He started flying with SouthWings in 2006.
