Virginia joined the SouthWings team in 2019. Virginia was born and raised in rural South Louisiana, she has always had a passion for nature. Virginia earned a BA in International Studies with a primary concentration in Environment and Development, a secondary concentration in Africa, and a minor in French. After almost spending the rest of her life in Africa, Virginia decided that there truly is no place like home (especially if home is the Southeast). She loves being active in her culture and learning traditional SE Native lifeways as well as Chahta Anumpa (the Choctaw language). The land, water, air, plants, animals, and cultures of the SE hold immeasurable value for Virginia. She is excited to work with the pilots, partners, and staff of SouthWings to give our people and environment the respect they deserve!
