John Sapienza

Leesburg, Virginia

John is a retired US Army helicopter pilot, and an avid aviator. In the US Army, John flew UH-60 and CH-47 helicopters primarily and now flies his Cessna 182Q, N182MM. John likes to fly for several charitable organizations, but also loves to just go out and fly to “slip the surly bonds” and get away from it all. When John’s wife Carol does not fly along, he can always convince Patsy, his golden retriever to go along for the ride. He supports his flying habit as a Senior Program manager in a federal consulting company headquartered in Northern Virginia. John is based at Leesburg Executive Airport at Godfrey Field (KJYO) in Leesburg Virginia.
