Mark grew up in the Allegheny mountains of Pennsylvania. Hard work in the country prepared him for life's future challenges. His father, a veteran B-29 gunner/bombardier in WW2, instilled a love of flying early in his life. Mark knew early on he would eventually become a pilot and dreamed of his own plane.
After challenges of early life in Pennsylvania, he settled in Jacksonville, Florida where he took root. Eventually, Mark retired after forty-one years of trades related service, which included 20 years of duties at a Military Aviation Depot.
Along the way, acquiring knowledge and mechanical skills that gave him the ability to refurbish his current Piper Cherokee to excellent condition, as well as an extensive knowledge of North FIorida, Southern Georgia, and the waterways.
Mark started his private flight training in 1994. Now with over 2000 hours flight time and Instrument Rated, Mark is a well-trained and competent pilot. Mark enjoys helping young pilots get comfortable in the cockpit and gain experience and the joys and challenges of flying for future careers in aviation.
